Miranda of Country Girl Cakes was absolutely amazing! She completely involved us in the conceptual design of the cake and was always quick to answer my panicked emails. She delivered a GORGEOUS cake to our wedding on the record breaking snowfall day of the year!! Now that is amazing service!! On top of it all, the cake looked just beautiful and tasted delicious! Hey Miranda, We just wanted to let you know how much my son LOVED his star wars cake he was so amazed and impressed. Funny thing is so was my husband, he went down to the shop to pick it up and couldn't believe all the cool stuff you had down there, he was going on and on about a dog cake and all sorts of other things that were there. If you knew my husband you would know this is a BIG deal since he doesn't get excited about much. This testimonial is for Miranda kindness. I am a big fan of the country girl cakes since a friend of mind had her wedding cake made there. My personal link to Miranda started with me asking if she gave private lessons because I wanted to give one to my niece Sarah Telford. I explain that Sarah is the Cake Boss of Merrickville. And Sarah has been fighting a hard battle with Leukemia for the last two years. Thru this battle , baking at Cheo at at home was a passion for her. Miranda kindly offered to have Sarah down for a special day, to show her the inside working of a bake shop, help her with some of her techniques and decorate a dummy cake . This happened last Sunday and Sarah was absolutely thrilled. And the dummy cake she made was beautiful. Miranda was so kind and so generous to do this for Sarah. We want to thank Country Girl Cakes for making our wedding cake, it was amazing! Wow, Wow, Wow. As a Fashion Designer I myself am quite detailed and a perfectionist. So at no point in time had we questioned if Miranda was the one to execute our Wedding Column Cake! The most amazing reaction and continual one at that throughout the night was "that's your cake?!" Time after time people thought this masterpiece was literally an art sculpture decoration to go with the rest of the decor within our theme. I cannot express my thanks and amazement with Miranda not only on your artistic ability BUT the taste..OMG I can't mention how many times I have wedding cakes that are dry! Even the left over (which wasn't much) the next day was soooo fresh! I can't wait to watch your business take off even more so and for your to continue to do what your best at! We were married in Jamaica and wanted to have a beach/tropical theme for our reception back home. We asked Miranda to do this and not only was the cake better than we imaged but it was absolutely delicious!! we had 4 layers and each layer was different flavours. The detail on the shells and star fish were so perfect that some of my guests thought they were real (until they saw me eating it) My husband and i are beyond happy with our cake and would go back in a heart beat whenever we need another cake made :) Christina Happy bride!

Miranda made our beautiful wedding cake for our reception. We met with her, discussed our vision, and of course received our delicious cake samples to help us choose a flavour. Miranda took our vision and made a unique and gorgeous cake that we were more than excited about when we saw the finished product. Everything we wanted was there, she went above and beyond with detail, and the cake was more delicious than the sample we tried.
